* gender and education, focus on access to and widening participation in lifelong learning and higher education. * expertise centres on identity formation and subjectivity in processes of accessing higher education and in relation to experience, aspiration and participation. * interested in the ways that academic practices, including pedagogy and assessment, work to produce inclusions and exclusions in relation to complex inequalities, power relations and mis/recogntions.
